"I was referred to Trailheads and Tails by a coworker and I am so pleased with the service, I have opted to write a short testimonial as to how first-rate the service is (I don’t do this often).
I have two female Australian Shepherds under four years old and if you’re not familiar with the breed, their energy level can be paralleled to being nuclear powered in that it is abundant and possesses a seemingly unlimited lifespan. My canine pals require more than a walk around the block to be tolerable and content around the house; an hour of solid running is the bare-minimum for me not to be pulling my hair-out at the end of the day. Having said that, finding a service in the Barrie area that I could trust to drain enough of these gals appetite for physical activity has been challenging to say the least until finding Trailheads and Tails. These two beauties come home completely exhausted/satisfied and for that I am extremely grateful.
Aside from the quality of the actual service, the diversity of what is offered, for example, both dog-walking as well as in-house dog-sitting is something that I have had a hard-time finding in similar services in the area until finding Jessica. I am employed in an occupation that requires rotating shifts (both day and night) and I also travel several times a year. Trailheads and Tails is able to accommodate a work schedule that is both irregular and urgent (at times being required with very little notice) with grace and an insane amount of flexibility.
Jessica is also able to provide the invaluable option of in-house dog-sitting for when I’m away traveling, which is a winning lottery ticket to me. Assuming you’re a dog owner (why else would you be reading this right?:) you know they desire continuity, routine and familiarity. I feel having someone they know and trust stay with them, in their own home, when I’m away for several days to weeks has eliminated an insurmountable amount of unnecessary anxiety and stress for them. Not to mention, with that peace of mind, I’m able to enjoy myself and/or focus on the task at hand much more than I would able to otherwise which is absolutely priceless to me. With cost in mind however, as if all this isn’t enough, if you do your research, you are provided all of this for well under the industry standard for the area.
Jessica is pro with dog behavior and importantly the service is extremely professional, attentive and responsible...an obvious prerequisite for someone solely overseeing two of the most important things in my life not to mention my home. Honestly, if you’re looking for someone to be there for your dogs while you’re not, look no further!"
